Step 1: Prepare Vegan Mayo

  • If you need to, prepare homemade vegan mayo. You can also use store-bought vegan mayonnaise as the base.
    ½ cup vegan mayonnaise

Step 2: Mix Chipotle Mayo

  • Finely chop your chipotle pepper(s).
    1-2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • Add all ingredients to a small bowl and stir together until well mixed.
    ½ cup vegan mayonnaise, 1-2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, 1 tablespoon lime juice, 1 teaspoon maple syrup, ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon onion powder, ⅛ teaspoon ground cumin, ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • Serve immediately, or chill in a refrigerator for 30 minutes for best flavor and consistency.
