How to Make It

Mix Liquid Ingredients

Step 1:

Combine plant milk and apple cider vinegar. Whisk and let sit for 1-2 minutes. Add remaining liquids and whisk together.

Stir in Dry Ingredients

Step 2:

Add all dry ingredients and stir until almost combined, then add apple and walnuts. Stir until just combined.

Bake in Oven

Step 3:

Grease a 9-inch round pan, then spread the cake batter into an even layer. Bake for 35-37 minutes.

Serve and Enjoy

Step 4:

Remove from the oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack or serving dish.

Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 5 days. You can also freeze this cake for up to 5 months.
