Tofu Fried Rice Recipe

Tofu fried rice is a great alternative to egg fried rice. Use whatever veggies you have around!

How to Make It

Prep Ingredients

Step 1:

Crumble tofu into a bowl. Chop onion, carrot and mushrooms (or other veg). Prep corn, edamame and other ingredients.

Cook Tofu

In a large pan, warm sesame oil and add tofu. Cook for 5 min, then add soy sauce and mirin. Stir until fully cooked.

Step 2:

Cook Veggies and Fry Rice

Warm vegetable oil in a pan. Add veggies, starting with carrot and onion.

Step 3:

Cook Veggies and Fry Rice

Add cooked rice along with flavoring ingredients. Toss to coat evenly.

Cook Veggies and Fry Rice

Add tofu and stir fry for a couple of minutes. Keep everything moving!

Step 3:

Serve

Remove food from heat and serve hot. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion!

Step 4:

Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Reheat using a microwave or pan over medium heat until warmed through.
